The California Budget Project’s 2012 policy conference, On the Edge: Consequences of a Widening Economic Divide, will examine the latest trends in incomes and employment within the context of the state’s ongoing budget challenges. Plenary sessions and workshops will examine proposals to address income inequality, improve supports for low- and middle-income families, and close the state budget deficit.
